Personal Note: Welcome

The title of this blog is in reference to my favorite book of all-time, The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster. It is the sign posted outside the home of the Whether Man, the minor character who welcomes Milo, the story's protagonist, to the Kingdom of Wisdom, ushering him beyond the Land of Expectations. Of course, the Whether Man is so busy thinking about what could be and why that he never seems to go anywhere or get anything done himself.
